Job Summary

The Quality Inspector will perform inspections at various stages of assembly and manufacturing, including first article, in-process, and final inspections, to ensure products meet engineering specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections of complex electro-mechanical assemblies using visual and mechanical methods.
• Document inspection results, including any deviations from engineering specifications.
• Ensure compliance with First Article Inspection (FAI) processes.
• Identify and properly document non-conforming materials.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the electro-mechanical industry.
• Proficiency in reading assembly blueprints, bills of materials, and related documentation.
• Skilled in using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, multi-meters, scales, feeler gauges, and pin gauges.
• Strong understanding of the First Article Inspection process.
• Familiarity with IPC-A-620 workmanship standards.
• Knowledge of inspection reporting procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain quality under tight deadlines.
• Effective communication and writing skills.

Working Environment

• 90% of work performed in a precision light industrial production area.
• Remaining time spent in office and warehouse settings.
