Title: Occupational Therapist Location: Whitestone, NY (Onsite) Employment Type: Contract Compensation: Pay Range: $34.30-$49.00 per Hr Description: Provide occupational therapy services in a skilled nursing facility. Work with the geriatric population to improve their daily living skills. Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care. Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary. Key Responsibilities: Assess patient needs and capabilities. Develop and implement treatment plans. Provide therapy sessions tailored to individual patient needs. Document patient progress and maintain accurate records. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff. Qualifications: New York State Licensed Occupational Therapist. BLS certification. Minimum 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility. Experience in long-term care settings. Proficiency in working with the geriatric population.
