Job Details Radiation Therapist needed asap5 8 hour shifts, Days Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm and 9am-5:30pm.Under general supervision, the Radiation Therapist performs radiotherapy procedures as prescribed by a physician according to established standards and practices. Provides patient care, treatment, and services within the scope of their license, certification, registration, and/or assessed competencies. Practice will be in accordance with laws and regulations and will adhere to established policies, procedures and practice guidelines.All travelers must have a permanent address of 50 miles or more to qualify as a traveler.Job QualificationsEducation: A minimum of associate's degree in radiography with a certification in radiation therapy is required. Bachelor's degree in radiation therapy is preferred. Graduate of a JRCERT approved school registered through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy.Licensures/Certifications: State of Ohio licensed radiation therapist ARRT license CPR certified.Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of radiation therapy experience is preferred.Job-related Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills ability to problem-solve and facilitate resolution to issues demonstrates ability to handle multiple priorities ability to make independent decisions.
