Detailed Job Description The FileNet P8 Administrator will support our customer's project and perform the following duties:
- Design, develop, and maintain workflows and related FileNet components that interface with various internal systems
- Database rewrite and Oracle, MS SQL server database redesign and upgrade
- Review current system specifications and Perl/CGI codes
- Clean up the decommissioned system, clean up outdated batch processing information, remove outdated information, and redesign the database to fulfill new needs
- Redesign the system with SFTP and HTTPS protocol, implement a new process to connect in P8 Bulk Import with JAVA, and maintain the same batch tar structure and acknowledgment schema to minimize the impact on existing application batch submission
- Migrate existing system and test new connection to upgraded FileNet IS and P8 repository
- Test batch submission to new system from various applications.
- Integration with external systems, bulk data submissions and modification.
- Administration and integration of other enterprise document systems like IBM content Manager on Demand, IBM datacap etc.
n ideal candidate has the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 6 Years of IBM FileNet P8, IBM content Manager on Demand, IBM datacap Administration
- 6 Years IBM FileNet P8 Content Engine Bulk Import programming
- 6 Years of IBM Content Navigator Administration
- 6 Years of IBM FileNet Imaging Services (IS) Administration
- 6 Years of Oracle Database Administration
- 6 Years of experience in FileNet P8 Content Engine, Content Navigator Java API programming
- 6 Years of experience in Installation/configuration/upgrade FileNet IS, P8, ICN environments
- Preferred:
- 4 Years of experience in providing automated solutions using Linux Shell scripting, including Korn
- 4 Years of experience in basic system administration on IBM Mainframe, Linux and Windows OS.
- 4 Years of experience in SQL query generation and reporting experience on Oracle database
