Job DetailsJob Location Milwaukee Public Museum - Milwaukee, WI Salary Range $17.30 - $19.07 Hourly Donor Records Coordinator Join an energetic, collaborative and growing Development Team that's committed to making a bold community impact at a transformational time in the Milwaukee Public Museum's history. You'll be part of the team working to build a new home for MPM-the largest cultural project in Wisconsin's history-and ensuring financial sustainability for the Museum's future. Under the direction of and reporting to the Database and Prospect Research Manager, the Donor Records Coordinator coordinates data entry of donations and memberships received through the mail, website and onsite sales into the Blackbaud Altru database. This includes ensuring a high degree of data integrity and coordinating the creation of digital records for all contribution-related documentation. Major Duties and Responsibilities
  • Performsthe accurate and timely daily gift entry and preparation of bank deposits for the Accounting Office.
  • Oversees preparation and digitization of all gift paperwork for access by Development and Finance staff.
  • Promptly prepares and mails donation acknowledgements, member materials, and pledge reminder notices.
  • Performs proper maintenance to a constituent's record prior to entering a gift into the record, such as verifying correct personal information and proper formatting. If no record exists, responsible for creating one.
  • Acts as a member/donor contact for phones. Ensures excellent customer service by responding to donor and member inquiries in a timely, polite and accurate fashion.
  • Produces accurate Altru reports connected to gift entry for easy access by coworkers.

Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; three years related experience, and/or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Preference to gift or data entry experience.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy and math skills, specifically Microsoft Word mail merge and Microsoft Excel.
  • Proven customer service skills.
  • Ability to work some evenings and weekends as required.
