QualificationsEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Curriculum and Accommodations: Experience in developing curriculum and accommodations specifically for special education students.
- Educational Philosophies: Knowledge and understanding of contemporary educational approaches like brain-based learning, Transformation Education (The Children's Guild's model), Project-Based Learning, Restorative Practices, PBIS, and integrated curriculum.
- Leadership Support: The ability to act on behalf of the Principal in their absence and assist in defining the school's mission, goals, and expectations.
- Policy and Compliance: Developing a working knowledge of and ensuring compliance with school policies, regulations, and operating procedures.

- Student Placement and Services: Assisting in determining and implementing school organization, student placement, evaluation, and services to meet individual student needs.
