Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) nursing to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive care to adult patients with a wide range of medical conditions and those recovering from surgical procedures. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Key Responsibilities: - Patient Assessment & Monitoring: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status, monitor vital signs, and detect any changes in condition to initiate appropriate interventions.
- Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications and treatments, ensuring accuracy and monitoring for any adverse reactions.
- Wound & Postoperative Care: Provide care for patients recovering from surgery, including wound care, pain management, and monitoring for complications.
- Care Coordination: Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Patient & Family Education: Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care to promote recovery and prevent complications.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued
- Experience: At least 1 year of clinical experience in a Med-Surg or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
- Skills: Strong clinical assessment skills, proficiency in medication administration, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Certifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.
