Job Description :
Application Support Analyst Status: Full-time (37.5 hours/week) Pay Range: $45,000 - $65,000 Work Location: Remote but must live in Ohio, Kentucky, or Indiana and have the ability to travel within the state of Ohio up to 10%. Job Summary: The Application Support Analyst is responsible for supporting and optimizing web-based enterprise applications, maintaining system documentation, and collaborating with development and business teams. This role involves user support, dashboard configuration, knowledge base development, and assisting with testing and compliance in a healthcare-related environment. Essential Functions: Application & User Support
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for web-based applications, including issue resolution and user communication.
  • Configure dashboards and user interfaces based on feedback and business needs.
  • Document and escalate bugs to the development team with clear, actionable details.
System Documentation & Knowledge Management
  • Create and maintain system documentation, including workflows, bug logs, and configuration records.
  • Develop and update knowledge base articles and user guides.
  • Contribute to internal training materials and support onboarding of new users.
Testing & Quality Assurance
  • Assist in planning and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Collaborate with QA and development teams to validate fixes and enhancements.
Data & Systems Insight
  • Use Microsoft SQL to write database queries to troubleshoot and document application issues.
  • Monitor system performance and user activity to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Collaboration & Communication
  • Work closely with developers, business analysts, and help desk teams to ensure smooth system operations.
  • Use Jira to manage tickets, track issues, and document resolutions.
Compliance & Industry Awareness
  • Support compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.
  • Understand the needs of care management platforms and contribute to system improvements accordingly.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
Required Education, Licensing & Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Associate's degree and equivalent experience.
Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience supporting web-based applications.
  • Experience in healthcare IT or care management platforms is a plus.
Skills & Abilities:
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL, Jira, and system administration basics.
  • Curious, analytical, and proactive problem-solver.
  • Able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple requests effectively.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
