Compensation Pay Range: $15.50 - $21.50 The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include annual, quarterly performance bonuses, or premiums, which may vary based on specific circumstances. Multiple premiums may apply when eligible criteria are met.
The Parts Support Specialist will deliver exceptional service to all retail and installer customers. This role also supports store management in completing assigned tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Uphold and promote all company customer service initiatives.
- Promptly greet and assist retail and walk-in customers with their selections in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Support managers and installer service specialists as needed.
- Complete necessary company training related to the position.
- Provide excellent phone service by answering calls, accurately looking up parts, quoting prices, and recommending related items.
- Maintain and secure the cash drawer, process transactions efficiently, and follow procedures for returns and exchanges.
- Resolve customer complaints amiably and assist in maintaining store organization and cleanliness.
- Perform various operational duties, including inventory management, merchandise returns, and upkeep of store displays.
- Operate store equipment following training and compliance with company standards.
- Perform in-store customer services, including installations, battery testing, and more, where permitted.
- Drive a delivery vehicle if required, adhering to company driving regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
- Commitment to delivering outstanding and professional customer service.
- Multitasking ability to handle in-store and phone customers simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of automotive parts and sales.
- ASE certification.
- Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish.
