The Opportunity You'll join a specialty clinic where rehabilitation is not just recovery it's precision work for patients who depend on fine motor strength, grip, and hand mobility to live and work. From post-op care to conservative management of complex hand injuries, you'll deliver targeted, evidence-based interventions tailored to each patient's goals. This role offers a dual-clinic model you'll split your time between the Willis Sports Medicine & Rehab Center and a high-performing orthopedic hospital in The Woodlands. Your Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments and create customized treatment plans for upper extremity injuries, post-surgical recovery, tendon/nerve repairs, fractures, arthritis, and repetitive stress conditions Implement progressive therapy techniques (including manual therapy, splinting, wound/scar management, and functional task retraining) Fabricate custom orthoses using low-temperature thermoplastics Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, and nursing staff to ensure seamless continuity of care Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention Document assessments, plans of care, and outcomes with accuracy and timeliness in compliance with clinic and state standards Participate in team huddles, interdisciplinary case reviews, and performance improvement projects Support professional development initiatives by mentoring students or junior therapists (optional but encouraged) Who Were Looking For This is not an entry-level role we're looking for a CHT who is confident, collaborative, and passionate about working with a focused patient population. Minimum Requirements (All Must Be Met):

  • Active Texas OT license
  • Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Certified Hand Therapist (CHT)must be current at time of hire
  • Current BLS certification
  • Minimum 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience
  • Physically capable of managing patient mobility, splinting, and handling therapy equipment
