Job Description & Requirements**Job Title: Pediatric Infusion Center Registered Nurse (RN)****Shift:** 5x8.0, Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm **Schedule:** 40 hours/week, No weekends, No holidays, No on-call **Job Description:**Join a dedicated team of healthcare professionals in our Pediatric Infusion Center, where you will provide essential infusions and procedural care for pediatric patients. Our services include chemotherapy, monoclonal antibody administration, blood product administration, enzyme replacement therapy, and gene therapy. **Key Responsibilities:**- Deliver high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients requiring infusion treatment.- Demonstrate expertise in IV skills, including the use of IVADs and ports.- Collaborate effectively with pediatric specialists to ensure the best patient outcomes.- Adapt to the evolving needs of the Pediatric Infusion Center, demonstrating flexibility and excellent prioritization skills.- Maintain clear and open communication with patients and their families regarding treatment plans and procedures.**Qualifications:**- **Licensed RN:** Current New York State RN license required.- **Experience:** Minimum of two (2) years of pediatric nursing experience.- **Certifications:** Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization (PEARS) certifications are required.- **Specialized Training:** Certification from the Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses (APHON) is preferred.**Behavioral Skills:**- Strong prioritization and communication abilities.- Flexibility to adjust to changing situations in a fast-paced healthcare environment.**Benefits:**At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
