The Registered Nurse applies knowledge of nursing theory, technical, and communication skills in delivering high quality compassionate care to patients and families. The Registered Professional Nurse assesses patient need, develops a plan of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, provides direct care, evaluates patient progress, and coordinates the care delivery throughout the patient's episode. They would provide care to adult, adolescent, and geriatric populations with medical conditions. The RN is accountable for patient family education to assist in understanding self care beyond hospitalization, including lifestyle changes to support health and healing. The Registered Nurse is expected to promote comfort and provide emotional support in a Healing Environment.

Med/Surg RN Per Diem - minimum 2x12s/4-week period, with 1 of those 2 shifts being weekend.Required: NYS RN Licensure RequiredCertifications Required: BLS, ACLS (AHA or RQI only), NIHSS
