This role involves program/application/product development, supporting business objectives through all phases of the development lifecycle: conception, design, testing, production, and maintenance. You will analyze, design, and build using systematic approaches, work on new and existing programs, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with research groups and internal customers. The position also includes responsibilities related to the mechanical design, development, and testing of a transcatheter heart valve and related components for treating aortic stenosis.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Serve as the main contact for a cross-functional team.
• Manage the development and delivery lifecycle, including requirement assessment, development, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with teams to analyze business requirements and provide technical expertise.
• Develop detailed design documentation, code, and configuration based on requirements.
• Perform various testing phases and support quality assurance efforts.
• Coordinate with teams to migrate functionality from test to production, following change control standards.
• Act as liaison with end users, research groups, and support areas.
• Lead design and development efforts for programs/applications/products.
• Facilitate technical meetings and provide documentation.
• Mentor junior staff and support during critical upgrades and launches.
• Develop policies for security and confidentiality.
• Support other team members as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred.
• Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or Developer Associate.
• 4-5 years of experience in design, development, and maintenance in a multi-platform environment; 10+ years in structural heart product development preferred.
• Experience with 3D modeling software and knowledge of FDA and ISO standards.
• Proficiency with finite element analysis software and statistical analysis tools.
