Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional to join their Portfolio Valuations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the valuation process of portfolio companies, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and collaborating with investment and finance teams to provide insights into portfolio performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the quarterly and annual valuation process of portfolio companies in accordance with industry standards
• Build and maintain financial models to support valuation methodologies including DCF, market comparables, and precedent transactions.
• Collaborate with investment teams to gather relevant financial and operational data.
• Prepare valuation memos and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and LPs.
• Monitor portfolio company performance and key value drivers.
• Support the implementation of valuation policies and procedures.
• Assist in responding to audit and regulatory inquiries related to valuations.
• Contribute to the development of internal tools and dashboards for performance tracking.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CFA or CPA a plus.
• 4 - 10 years of experience in valuation, investment banking, private equity, or transaction advisory services.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with valuation platforms or BI tools is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
