What we need:

We are looking for a Plant Manager who operates effectively as a leader with direct responsibility for manufacturing and key support process operations.

Job Requirements:

  • Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers' expectations.
  • Perform administrative functions, based on company guidelines, and including but not limited to employee evaluations, employee reviews, time off request, job descriptions, job safety analysis, training documentation development, conflict resolution, disciplinary forms, incident reports, training reviews, etc.
  • Facilitate Lean practices within the plant.
  • Set and maintain standards that ensure on-time delivery of quality products that meet customer needs.
  • Drives engagement - Creating a climate where people are motivated to do their best to help the organization achieve its objectives.
  • Ensure all departments are operating effectively, encouraging collaboration, and adhering to business quality standards.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to achieve and exceed KPIs and revenue targets.
  • Ability to anticipate, negotiate and manage conflicts, problems, changing situations and deadlines.
  • Provides a strong floor presence: we seek an on-the-floor leader.
  • Makes recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
  • Maintain a culture of safety as a value through safe manufacturing practices and ensure compliance with all applicable safety and environmental rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus.

Skill Requirements:

  • Current manufacturing plant manager experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing leadership.
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma/5S strategies would be a plus.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work safely in a multi-functional, multi-skilled team environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and initiatives.
  • Strong problem solving, decision making and conflict resolution skills.
  • Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.
  • In compliance with ITAR regulations, must be a US Citizen or US Person.

Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000 a year. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
