The primary purpose of the role is to support the growth of CME's equity index option business. Working with a senior business owner, the candidate should be strong analytically and capable of providing data-driven assessments of current products, while supporting new initiatives that drive volume and revenue growth. The role involves interacting with various functional teams at CME to deliver project results, gain insights for informed decisions, and improve current business efficiencies.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Support daily execution of Equity BLM option initiatives, including product management, customer inquiries, reporting, and incentive programs, meeting deadlines.
- Manage large datasets for analysis, structuring and processing qualitative and quantitative data to draw insights.
- Create and update analytics reports to monitor key metrics across equity index products, ensuring data accessibility for team members and stakeholders.
- Generate new ideas for business growth and propose solutions to complex issues.
- Support sales by preparing tailored materials for client conversations to grow the business.
- Represent the BLM team in cross-functional projects, collaborating with teams such as Clearing, Marketing, Sales, Research, and Technology.
Qualifications Include:
- 3-7 years of experience in financial services and derivatives markets preferred.
- Strong interest and relevant experience in the equity options market.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Strong analytical skills, including handling large datasets.
- Understanding of the financial system and CME markets, with a desire to learn more.
- Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills, managing multiple stakeholders.
- Passion for financial markets, attention to detail, and curiosity.
- Self-starter with a focus on continuous process improvement.
