Solutions Engineer – Insurance & AI Innovation

Are you a creative problem solver who thrives at the intersection of technology, automation, and business transformation? We are partnering with a fast-growing insurance organization seeking a Solutions Engineer to help drive cutting-edge automation initiatives, spearhead AI-powered solutions, and shape the future of their digital ecosystem.

This role reports directly to the Head of Digital Products and Data and is pivotal to delivering innovative solutions across the enterprise. If you're passionate about automation, AI, and cloud-native architectures, this is an opportunity to make a significant strategic impact.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement solutions leveraging microservices, event-driven systems, and cloud-native technologies.
• Identify and automate manual processes across business and technical domains.
• Develop AI-powered solutions to optimize workflows and decision-making.
• Lead complex system integrations, ensuring automation opportunities are prioritized.
• Combine in-house and third-party technologies to create seamless, automated workflows.
• Drive change management initiatives to transition manual processes to automation.
• Collaborate with contractors and vendors to strengthen internal automation capabilities.
• Ensure solutions are delivered with agility, security, and quality.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into elegant technical solutions.
• Work closely with data teams to align solutions with enterprise data strategy.
• Collaborate with cloud, security, and governance teams to ensure compliance and innovation.
• Coordinate with PMO teams to deliver projects on time and in alignment with business goals.
• Act as a technical liaison between business and technology functions.

Strategic Impact

• Lead automation, integration, and technology strategies across the organization.
• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to solve business challenges.
• Deliver measurable improvements in efficiency and accuracy through automation.
• Establish enterprise-wide automation best practices and frameworks.

What We're Looking For

• Strong backend development skills with a service-oriented approach.
• Proven experience designing and implementing automation solutions.
• Knowledge of AI/ML technologies and their real-world applications.
• Hands-on experience with APIs (SOAP, REST), SQL/no-SQL databases, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and automation services.
• Background in DevOps practices and Agile methodologies.
• 3–6 years of experience, ideally within P&C insurance or Insurtech.
• Passion for automation and AI technologies (especially Agentic AI) and their role in insurance.
