We are introducing the BrioVAD LVAS to Heart Failure clinicians for use with the large number of indicated and untreated patients who could benefit from chronic mechanical circulatory support. The initiation of our INNOVATE Trial in the US is only the beginning. We are building a team to develop advanced technology intended to further improve patient outcomes, increase therapy acceptance, and enabling chronic MCS therapy to be accessible to more patients across the globe.
Job Summary
BrioHealth Solutions Inc. is seeking a dynamic Upstream and Downstream Marketing Product Manager to drive the strategic direction of new product development and ensure our solutions meet evolving market needs. This role requires a deep understanding of market trends, customer requirements, and technological advancements within the medical device industry. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with R&D, sales, regulatory, and other cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, develop compelling business cases, and guide the successful development and launch of innovative products.
Responsibilities
Market Analysis & Strategy
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics.
- Analyze market data to uncover opportunities for new product development and innovation.
- Maintain a strong understanding of clinical practices, regulatory landscapes, and emerging technologies in the medical device sector.
- Define and execute non-product strategies (e.g., clinical studies, digital solutions) to strengthen the product pipeline.
- Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Build detailed product roadmaps that prioritize features and align with market demands.
- Act as the Marketing lead on project core teams, ensuring product strategies support long-term growth.
- Engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and customers to validate product concepts and gather insights.
- Lead focus groups, surveys, and interviews to understand customer pain points and unmet needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to define and execute market research that drives data-driven decisions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clinicians and KOLs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with R&D, regulatory, quality, and clinical teams to ensure product development aligns with market requirements.
- Partner with downstream marketing and sales teams to enable seamless product launches and commercialization efforts.
Business Case Development & Product Lifecycle Management
- Develop robust business cases and financial models to support new product initiatives.
- Present product concepts and strategic recommendations to senior leadership for approval.
- Monitor product performance post-launch, collect market feedback, and identify opportunities for product improvements and updates.
- Anticipate and respond to competitive activities through product iterations or marketing strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in full-cycle (concept-to-launch) product management or marketing within the medical device industry. Experience with cardiovascular products, particularly Mechanical Circulatory Support, is a plus.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with experience in VOC (Voice of the Customer) methodologies and market research techniques.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and clinical practices in the medical device industry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to develop compelling business cases.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and engage with KOLs.
- Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, data interpretation, and competitive intelligence.
- Willingness to travel 20% - 30% (domestic and international as needed).
