Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

Indus Capital Partners is seeking an Investor Relations Associate to join our dynamic and collaborative Client Advisory team. This individual will support the team's Capital Development, Investor Engagement, and Client Service initiatives. You will have diverse responsibilities, contributing to project management and process development across various functions. Success in this role requires a keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. This individual must be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while consistently meeting all deadlines and requires a high level of responsibility and accountability to ensure the successful completion of various tasks. This role will be based in the New York office.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining in-depth knowledge of investor universe, investment strategies at Indus Capital and competitive landscape
• Ownership of due diligence questionnaires, on-site due diligence meetings, request for proposals and requests
• Ownership, coordination and creation of investor content, including investor reports, investor meeting presentations, webinars, and communications
• Share ownership of the Investor Relations inbox, monitoring, and responding promptly to investor questions and requests
• Oversee team's use of its CRM (Dynamo), enter new meeting notes, manage account and contact pages, oversee the pipeline, and ensure all information in Dynamo is accurate and current
• Support the team's outreach efforts by helping organize investor events, sending outreach emails for roadshows, assisting with meeting follow-ups, and investor research ahead of upcoming meetings
• Create prep sheets for the portfolio managers and research analysts ahead of any client meetings
• Help organize cap intro data and introductions provided by the Firm's prime brokers (peer group analysis, performance information etc.)
• Ensure compliance with internal and external rules, policies, and procedures as well as regulatory requirements
• Work collaboratively with the firm's investment professionals, Indus operations team, and external counterparties to respond to investor requests

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Finance required
• Minimum 3 years of relevant investor relations experience in financial services
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
• Extremely detail-oriented and strong organization skills
• Strong knowledge of alternative investments universe
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
• Exhibit a proven ability to think creatively
• Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills
• Ability to think dynamically in a fast-paced environment. Proven to be a fast learner
• Strong sense of personal responsibility, ownership mentality, reliability, and results-oriented
• Must be able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to take direction but also to be independent and have a proactive mindset
• Capable of thinking five steps ahead
• Willingness to take on what's needed to support the team; being a team player is a must!
• Tenacious/persistent - goes the extra mile
