Develops, communicates, and leverages a strategic vision aligned with company market and local plans and tactics to direct the management team and associates in facility operations, merchandising, and company direction. Provides supervision and development opportunities for management and hourly associates in a facility that may present issues such as high turnover, engagement challenges, inexperienced associates, and recruiting challenges in a competitive market. Responsibilities include ongoing recruitment, hiring, training, mentoring, performance evaluation, recognition, and fostering a belonging mindset across organizational levels.
Upholds the company's Open Door Policy by engaging with associates, researching issues, leveraging resources, reviewing policies, and ensuring responsiveness and resolution. Ensures compliance with company policies, navigates complex regulatory environments, maintains relationships with officials, and oversees asset protection, safety, quality assurance, and operational reviews. Develops community outreach programs, manages media relations, and represents the company externally.
Drives financial performance by achieving sales and profit goals, controlling expenses, and analyzing economic trends. Implements process improvements and oversees budgeting and forecasting. Ensures customer service excellence, manages store standards, and fosters a high-performance culture within the Academy training environment.
Develops strategies for workforce attraction and retention, supports mentorship and succession planning, and promotes a respectful and ethical work environment. Builds partnerships, engages stakeholders, and supports community initiatives. Demonstrates respect for individuals, acts with integrity, and prioritizes customer service. Strives for excellence by encouraging learning, innovation, and resilience.

The annual salary range is $110,000.00-$170,000.00 plus differential and bonuses. Additional compensation may include regional pay zones and complex structure adjustments.
Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree and 2 years of general management experience, including financial accountability, and 4 years supervising at least 50 nonexempt and 5 exempt associates, or 4 years of management experience with similar supervisory responsibilities. For firearm-selling facilities, successful completion of a firearms-specific CBC and training are required. All associates must complete required trainings and assessments.
Preferred QualificationsBachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, experience as a Store Manager in a low or medium complex store, or 2 years as a Store Manager in a high-volume retail store, especially in running a fresh or dry grocery area.
