Job Description

We have 1 position open on this team in the US, hiring at Lead Consultant or Sr. Consultant level depending on qualifications and interview evaluation.

The AI Platform Engineer is a full-stack engineer responsible for building and operating cloud application development and hosting platforms for Allstate. This role involves owning, developing, implementing, and managing Allstate's Cloud platforms.

With expertise in GenAI Cloud Platforms, you will serve as a technical solutions advisor within our AI solutions team, collaborating with product teams to define AI strategies and prioritize use cases that deliver business value through AWS and Azure AI Services. You will also handle operational tasks, automate build and operational processes, and advocate for best engineering practices such as paired programming, test-driven development, infrastructure engineering, and continuous delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in GenAI on Azure and AWS to support and enhance client relationships, including product demos, proof-of-concept projects, and solution briefings.
• Recommend integration strategies, architectures, platforms, and infrastructure for implementing solutions using best practices on Azure/AWS AI.
• Advise clients on incorporating AI accelerators into their cloud strategies, including migration and integration paths.
• Solve complex problems by leveraging product, design, and business priorities.
• Lead thought leadership and deliver innovative technical solutions across teams.
• Engage with clients and internal teams to identify opportunities, address objections, and resolve technical issues.
• Promote engineering practices, including Terraform automation and codebase maintenance.
• Mentor junior team members and present technical ideas and solutions.

Key Qualifications

• Preferred 4-year Bachelor's degree.
• 7+ years in Cloud application development.
• Knowledge of Prompt Engineering and open-source AI ecosystem.
• Experience with Azure AI services and AWS Bedrock preferred.
• Knowledge of LLM and foundational model APIs.
• Experience with Terraform development.

Compensation

Annual salary ranges from $104,000 to $187,625, based on experience and qualifications.
