About The Role

CrowdStrike Falcon Host is a security product with two components: a sensor (driver) installed on client machines to observe system activity and recognize malicious behavior, and a cloud component that aggregates telemetry, correlates threats, and provides insights to customers. We are seeking an Engineering Manager for the team responsible for content and prevention policies on the Falcon sensor. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in hiring, retaining, and leading software development teams, owning features from design to delivery, and working across all OS layers such as file system, memory, process, and networking.

What You'll Do
  • Attract, develop, and grow top technical talent to strengthen our industry leadership
  • Develop new product concepts
  • Support development teams in designing and building software
  • Own features from conception to deployment, including product demos at sprint end
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams across locations
  • What You'll Need
  • U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident, authorized to work solely in the U.S.
  • Deep knowledge of C++
  • Strong understanding of low-level OS internals (Windows, Mac OS, or Linux)
  • Experience as an Engineering Manager with direct reports
  • Ability to lead, mentor, communicate, and collaborate in a distributed team environment
  • Experience debugging memory issues, process contention, and system performance
  • Experience shipping major features and releases with teams
  • Bonus Points
    • Prior cybersecurity experience

    This role requires periodic background and fingerprint checks per government client requirements.
