Base pay range

$180,000.00/yr - $190,000.00/yr

Location – Fully onsite Fairfield New Jersey 07004

Duration – Permanent Role

Salary Range: $150,000 – $190,000

Job Summary

The Senior Concrete Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate, detailed cost estimates for concrete scopes of work, including foundations, slabs, walls, and site concrete. This role requires strong industry knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans, specifications, and related documents
• Perform quantity take-offs and cost analysis
• Solicit and analyze subcontractor and vendor quotes
• Develop and present detailed proposals and budgets
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure estimates align with field practices
• Track market trends, material pricing, and labor costs
• Participate in bid reviews and client presentations as needed
• Maintain organized estimate files and historical data for future reference

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in concrete estimating (commercial or industrial)
• Strong knowledge of concrete materials, methods, and industry standards
• Proficient in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar)
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Excellent math, organizational, and communication skills
• Experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred (not required)
