Role:

Toll International is seeking a Construction Estimator to support our team in providing Estimating Review services for a range of facilities and projects overseen by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. This role is integral to ensuring accurate and comprehensive cost assessments across business units, including capital and repair work across facilities such as PATH, Tunnels, Bridges, Terminals, Ports, Aviation, and the World Trade Center. The Construction Estimator will work closely with engineers, architects, project managers, and financial analysts to review and develop detailed construction estimates.

This role involves reviewing and preparing estimates, supporting cost validation efforts, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistency and alignment with project scopes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field from a U.S.-accredited college or university
• 10+ years of experience across a variety of construction trades including building, heavy/civil, and infrastructure
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Demonstrated ability to develop unit prices and lump sum estimates using labor, materials, and equipment data
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and project teams.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license required

General Skills:

• Demonstrated ability to analyze and prepare detailed estimates and cost breakdowns
• Knowledge of construction change order estimating and scope verification
• Strong skills in technical communication, data analysis, and report generation

Role Responsibilities:

• Review and validate construction estimates for changes across all trades and project phases
• Ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with project scope and documentation
• Validate estimates for labor, material, and equipment costs

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders.
• Support integration of estimates with overall project planning and budgeting
• Participate in project review meetings to explain and defend estimate assumptions and methodology

Software & Documentation

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and estimating software to generate and document estimates
• Maintain organized records and cost data libraries
• Support digital tools used for estimation tracking and reporting
