Job Overview – Vice President (Investor Relations & Client Services):Compensation: $150,000 – $180,000/year + bonusLocation: New York, NYSchedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)Drive investor communications, reporting, and relationship management as a Vice President in New York, NY, with our client, a leading credit-focused asset management firm. This high-impact role supports institutional clients across alternative investment strategies, with responsibilities including investor materials, inflows/outflows, RFPs, and onboarding. Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM proficiency is required, and Adobe InDesign experience is a plus.Responsibilities as the Vice President (Investor Relations & Client Services):
- Investor Reporting: Prepare monthly and quarterly reports, draft commentaries, and respond to investor inquiries.
- Client Engagement: Coordinate and follow up on investor meetings, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
- Market & Product Analysis: Conduct peer comparisons and asset class research to support presentations and insights.
- RFP & Content Management: Lead RFP/RFI responses and contribute to building scalable, streamlined processes.
- Client Onboarding & CRM: Manage onboarding, track inflows/outflows, update guidelines, and maintain CRM records.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with sales, legal, ops, and investment teams on product reviews and due diligence.
Qualifications for the Vice President (Investor Relations & Client Services):
- Education:Bachelor's degree required, with an MBA and/or CFA designation also required.
- Experience: 7-9 years of experience in investor relations, client service, or business development within a credit-focused or alternative asset management firm serving institutional investors.
- Technical Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills including v-lookups, pivot tables, and formulas, and familiarity with CRM systems and Adobe InDesign is preferred.
- Skills & Attributes:Highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical, with strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, team-driven environments.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of fixed income strategies, institutional investor expectations, and the competitive landscape within credit and alternatives.
