ABOUT THE COMPANY

We've been exclusively retained by a Private Equity sponsor to identify a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Finance for a high-growth, mission-driven SaaS organization. This company is redefining how organizations streamline operations and enhance user experience through innovative, accessible technology. With a strong foundation and a clear vision, the business is poised for its next phase of growth, and finance will be at the center of that journey.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As VP of Finance, you will serve as a key strategic partner to the CEO and executive leadership team, helping to shape the financial future of the company. You'll lead all aspects of financial planning, reporting, and operational finance while collaborating closely with a hands-on, value-oriented Private Equity sponsor. This is a unique opportunity to join a purpose-driven company at a pivotal inflection point — and to help architect its path to scale and eventual exit.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Lead all financial operations, including FP&A, accounting, budgeting, and reporting.
• Partner with the CEO to provide strategic insights and data-driven decision support.
• Build and scale financial infrastructure to support rapid growth and operational complexity.
• Drive the transition from QuickBooks to a more robust, automated financial system.
• Develop and refine SaaS-specific metrics and reporting (ARR, CAC, LTV, churn, etc.).
• Collaborate with the Private Equity sponsor on board reporting, KPI tracking, and value creation initiatives.
• Support M&A activity, capital planning, and exit readiness.
• Build and mentor a high-performing finance team.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive finance experience, with 8+ years in leadership roles.
• Proven success in SaaS finance, with deep understanding of ARR models and SaaS metrics.
• Experience in private equity-backed environments, including successful exits.
• Demonstrated ability to lead financial system upgrades and process automation.
• Strong communicator with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
• Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative leadership style.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
