The Department of Social Services (DSS) comprises the NYC Human Resources Administration (HRA) and the Department of Homeless Services (DHS), dedicated to fighting poverty, reducing homelessness, and providing essential services.
HRA/General Support Services (GSS) manages facilities planning, design, renovation, maintenance, and related services for HRA's social programs. The role involves supervising the Division of Property Management, coordinating with various units to ensure facilities are well-maintained and compliant with safety standards.
The Administrative Supervisor of Building Maintenance (M-III) will function as the Executive Director for Facilities Operations, reporting to the First Assistant Deputy Commissioner, Facilities Operations. Responsibilities include:
