Qualifications

You'll have...

  • A Master's or equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, and 10 years of experience in Noise Vibration Harshness (NVH) CAE analysis from components to full vehicle.
  • 10 years of experience with NVH CAE tools: Nastran, HyperMesh, HyperView, NVH/Director, NVH/Console, Abaqus, AVL/Excite, Romax, Maxwell.
  • 5 years of experience with Optistruct and Hyperstudy for NVH optimization, and with Catia and Solidworks for 3D drafting.
  • Experience working with chassis components, suspensions, subframes, steering, and braking systems.
  • 4 years of experience with BEV power units.

We offer a salary range of $117,853 to $162,120 per year.

Responsibilities

What you'll be able to do:

Perform NVH analysis on power units, including electric motors and transmissions. Simulate magnetic flux, analyze BLDC motor performance, and correlate test data with full vehicle modal and frequency response analyses. Conduct suspension and chassis force analyses, evaluate knuckle cone joints, and analyze subframe stiffness. Perform steering gear and brake system NVH analyses, including modal and FRF analysis, and optimize for noise reduction. Use NVH/Console Active DOE for connection force optimization and perform body trim optimization for NVH performance.
