The hiring range for this role is:

$150,000.00 - $175,000.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the hiring range, and this range may also be modified in the future. A candidate's position within the hiring range may be based on factors including, but not limited to, competencies, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and organizational needs.

This job is also eligible for an annual bonus incentive pay.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership, analysis, and design facilitation across business, information, and technical viewpoints, establishing Synergie's solution architecture strategy.
  • Lead the integration of Enterprise Architecture processes with other related processes.
  • Evaluate existing infrastructure and lead the design, development, and deployment of healthcare business applications.
  • Define technical requirements, manage priorities, and ensure deliverables meet business needs and standards.
  • Guide teams and external consultants to deliver solutions on time and within scope.
  • Diagnose issues, craft architectural solutions, design MVPs, develop prototypes, and drive Agile software delivery.
  • Explore emerging technologies and validate new approaches through proofs of concept.

Architectural and Strategic Tasks:

  • Develop reference architectures and models for business, information, technical, and system architectures.
  • Align designs with security and compliance standards (e.g., SOC2, HiTRUST, HIPAA).
  • Translate business strategies into technical initiatives across multiple programs and projects.
  • Advise management on architecture, technology, risks, and opportunities.
  • Oversee security architecture and infrastructure to support security posture.
  • Produce and manage formal architectural documentation.
  • Provide direction and support to technical staff and establish organizational structures for architectural consistency.
  • Review and approve architectural documents.

Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 10 years in IT or software development, including enterprise architecture and team leadership.
  • Deep knowledge of programming languages, cloud architecture (AWS), and data architectures.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and the health insurance industry preferred.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and design future-proof systems.

Financial Responsibilities:

  • Budget responsibility for cost-benefit analysis and justification.
