Practice Lead - Medical Affairs & Clinical Development (US)

Kennedy Bond has been retained by a client who are looking for a Senior Director Clinical Operations to lead their pivotal program as it enters phase 3.

For background, the company works across obesity-related conditions and metabolic diseases in a number of modalities. Their cash runway is unrivaled, and over a Series A, B and IPO (all within the last 12 months), they have raised in excess of $1bn. As the scope of the clinical programs continues to expand, the SVP of Clinical Operations is looking to hire an experienced clinical operations professional to spearhead the phase 3 study.

High level criteria includes some of the following:

• 10 Years experience within clinical operations
• Experience leading high patient population trials
• Ideally you should have experience in the obesity or cardiometabolic space, though this is not a necessity
• The ability to work independently and cross-functionally
• Must be able to work strategically as well as execute
• Have exceptional project management skills with the ability to plan and influence others as needed
• Experience working across all phases of development is preferred

This is a remote role. HQ is in New York, and you will be expected to travel to site for critical meetings and collaborative work days.

The next 18 months are pivotal, with a number of milestones on the horizon, to include multiple data readouts, with plans to dose their first patient in phase 3 by the end of H2. You will be working with leaders within their respective spaces, and a team that are passionate about making a difference.
