General Summary:

The Facility Director (FD) is a prominent role in the organization. Each facility is a very public expression of our Mission and Values. The FD has the most direct opportunity to impact patients' lives daily. They are accountable for team performance and the positive impact on patient lives. The FD leads a team attentive to systems, processes, and protocols to ensure the facility thrives. They balance patient care, team development, and operational needs daily.

The FD will have autonomy to manage over 50 staff members and a facility generating significant revenue. They will make important decisions requiring insight, judgment, and wisdom, often working alongside the Regional VP, Medical Director, and other resources. They will also build relationships with community resources and foster a strong team culture, leading the facility through challenges such as staffing, weather, or pandemics.

Essential Duties:
  • Recruit, hire, develop, and manage a team aligned with our Core Purpose and Values;
  • Develop a patient care team focused on customer service metrics;
  • Complete protocols, processes, and checklists quarterly;
  • Facilitate and interpret facility reporting and analytical data;
  • Manage budgets for staffing, supplies, and resources;
  • Oversee department scheduling and payroll;
  • Ensure proper functioning of equipment, IT systems, and physical plant;
  • Proactively respond to challenges like staffing and system failures;
  • Maintain relationships with community and strategic accounts with excellent customer service;
  • Follow and report on the effectiveness of the information security policy.
Qualifications:Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience; clinical education preferred;
  • Five years of leadership in a medical facility;
  • BLS certification;
  • Experience managing large staff (over 40 team members preferred);
  • Experience in complex medical settings preferred;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
  • Effective communication skills with all levels;
  • Organized with critical thinking and problem-solving skills;
  • Financial and budgeting knowledge;
  • Revenue growth experience preferred;
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Certifications/Licenses:
  • BLS required;
Travel:

Up to 25%.

Physical & Mental Requirements:

Various physical activities including lifting, reaching, and constant computer use; ability to prioritize, pay attention to detail, and adapt to changing priorities.

Environmental Requirements:

Exposure to chemicals, machinery, and a general office environment.
