Assistant Manager, Mechanical and Electrical - Rayong Plant

Job Responsibilities

• Manage manpower to support maintenance shifts for operators 24/7.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance to ensure all plant equipment meet production volume and OEE targets.
• Follow daily management practices based on PDCA & SDCA principles.
• Conduct weekly root cause analysis for machine breakdowns and minimize downtime using BDA.
• Summarize machine breakdowns via BDR and analyze root causes with BDA, using 4M, why-why, and fish bone analysis.
• Ensure that all root causes are analyzed and actions verified for machine breakdowns.
• Initiate machine improvements and corrective actions to prevent recurring breakdowns.
• Motivate personnel through dialogue, counseling, coaching, recognition, and encouraging high performance.
• Lead quarterly machine inspections and annual overhauls.
• Coach technicians on the shop floor to improve performance and achieve AOP.
• Perform other duties supporting company goals.
• Follow task assignments from Senior Engineers or Maintenance Manager.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards and communicate risks and best practices.
• Monitor compliance and develop plans to address gaps.

Skills and Experience

Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related Engineering fields.

Experience with CSD/NCB manufacturing processes is advantageous.

Experience in instrumentation and PLC is advantageous.

Experience in blowing and filling processes is advantageous.

Minimum 3 years' experience in Mechanical Engineering, industrial process & control, or packaging/manufacturing technology.

Knowledge of engineering tools such as MTTR, MTBF, PDCA, and root cause analysis.

Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, MS-Project, and similar tools.

Fluent in spoken and written English and Thai, with good communication skills.

Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate teams.
