Overview:

We're seeking a Data Scientist to help build and optimize fraud detection strategies for one of our clients in the financial services sector. This role is a mix of hands-on data science and business analysis, requiring strong fraud domain knowledge and technical proficiency.

What You'll Do:

• Develop and refine fraud rules in ThreatMetrix / LexisNexis
• Monitor fraud trends and strategy KPIs (detection/prevention/false positives)
• Conduct root cause analysis for fraud incidents
• Visualize fraud patterns and strategy impact via dashboards (Power BI, Tableau)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective prevention strategies

What We're Looking For:

• 4+ years in fraud analytics in retail banking or card domains
• Expertise in SQL, Python, and statistical modeling
• Familiarity with ThreatMetrix, LexisNexis, or similar rule-based platforms
• Experience with big data tools like Hive, Spark; SageMaker is a plus
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
