JOB TITLE: Property Manager
DEPARTMENT: Realty Office
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Management of multi-family living complexes.
- Develop maintenance and repair schedule.
- Collection of rent and other expenses from tenants.
- Act as liaison between tenants and the Meskwaki Realty Office.
- Preform annual inspections and record essential hazards to health and safety of the household.
- Perform maintenance, landscaping, repairs, and security.
- Investigating and resolving property complaints and rental violations.
- Assist with review of potential tenant applications and meet with potential tenants.
- Update and maintain realty vacancy /occupancy inventory.
- Communicate expiring leases or termination of leases to tenants.
- Assist with advertisement of vacant units.
- Provide financial status reports to Realty Office.
- Procurement of material/supplies/services for property.
- Supervision of property management staff.
- Coordinate seasonal maintenance tasks (HVAC servicing, landscaping and mowing, snow removal)
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma/G.E.D.
- Prefer A.A. Degree in Construction related field or Vocational Training Certificate
- Prefer (3) years' experience in construction management or as a construction jobsite lead.
- Must possess administrative capabilities.
- Must have strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems
- Must be familiar with computer and database programs, documents, email.
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Prefer ability to implement and process budgets.
- Must possess a valid drivers license and insurable
SUPERVISION:
- Supervised by the Meskwaki Realty Officer.
SALARY:
- Annual salary is $61,401 - $100,339
