Senior Embedded Software Engineer – Medical Devices

I'm currently partnered with a leading medical device company based in Minnesota that's on the lookout for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a mission-driven team developing breakthrough technologies that directly impact patient lives.

The Role

In this role, you'll be a key contributor to the design and development of real-time embedded software for Class II/III medical devices. You'll work alongside talented engineers across systems, hardware, QA, and regulatory to bring life-changing products to market.

What They're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in embedded software development
• Proficiency in C/C++, and experience with RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS, Zephyr)
• Experience working with microcontrollers (ARM Cortex-M preferred)
• Solid understanding of communication protocols: SPI, I2C, UART, BLE, USB, etc.
• Background in medical devices or regulated industries (IEC 62304, ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820)
• Bonus: Experience with low-power design, cybersecurity, or wireless technologies.
