Position Overview

The MSSP Channel Account Manager will build and promote the Company's position as the worldwide leader in Unified Threat Management, specifically through the MSSP community. The role involves contributing to partner revenue growth and Fortinet's growth targets by managing MSSP partnerships, developing new business, and enabling partners to build Fortinet solutions within their portfolios. The manager will motivate, educate, and train partners on the Company's products and technologies, drive solution adoption, engagement, and certifications, and expand sales through strategic business planning.

Responsibilities
  • Manage key Fortinet partners in the MSSP Program.
  • Develop and expand Fortinet's footprint within these MSSP partners.
  • Create revenue and non-revenue business plans with partners.
  • Provide ongoing sales and technical training to partners.
  • Develop marketing plans to generate sales pipeline and revenues using development funds.
  • Serve as a channel strategist to sales managers within Fortinet.
  • Collaborate with marketing and engineering teams to drive revenue growth.
  • Guide MSSP partners through the MSSP Offer Development program.
  • Pursue new service enablement of Fortinet products within partner offerings.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Travel 50–60% as required.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications
    • 5+ years in channel sales, business development, or territory management; ideally 3+ years in direct sales within networking or security sectors.
    • Experience in building business and marketing plans with partners.
    • Knowledge of Managed Security Services Providers and their operations.
    • Experience delivering sales training and working in fast-paced environments with revenue responsibilities.
    • Excellent presentation skills for executives and individual contributors.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
    • Competitive, self-starter, hunter mentality.
    • College or university degree required.
    Benefits and Compensation

    Fortinet offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k), paid holidays, vacation, sick leave, and a leave program. The salary range is approximately $228,100 - $253,400 annually, based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location. The role is eligible for participation in the equity program and commissions per the Sales Compensation Plan.
