Base pay range
$160,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr
A global operator in the Logistics Software Sector, this large, enterprise business has an additional requirement for a Sales Director within their software division, focusing on the Distribution Center sector.
Remote based either East Coast or Central Region, this role involves travel to client sites — being located close to a major airport is a requirement.
A hybrid Player-Coach position, this involves a mix of direct sales and leadership and development of a team of Account Executives.
It's essential that the role holder has a background within software for Distribution Centers and the Supply Chain sector, alongside experience leading a team of remote-based Account Executives.

Role -
- Drive revenue growth of Software solutions into the Distribution Center / Supply Chain sector.
- Develop and execute new business campaign plans alongside Sales Development and Marketing teams.
- Lead the sales process, from customer identification, approach, needs evaluation, solution qualification, to deal management, including proposal delivery.
- Guide, support, mentor, and develop a team of Account Executives.
- Maintain accurate data including prospect, pipeline, funnel, customer management, retention, development, up-sell, and cross-sell.
- Support Product and Marketing teams with customer feedback.
- Represent the company during face-to-face customer onsite visits, conferences, exhibitions, and in-person presentations.
- Develop playbooks for the Distribution, Logistics, and Supply Chain solutions sector within the US market and present them to company leadership, both within the US and internationally to the C-suite.
Requirements -
- 5+ years of experience in Distribution Center, Logistics, and Supply Chain SaaS solutions is essential.
- Proven success in in-person SaaS sales related to logistics, supply chain management software, distribution center management, supplier management, ERP, MRP, WMS, storage, warehouse automation, or intralogistics solutions.
- Experience leading remote-based sales teams of Account Executives driving new business.
- Working knowledge of business process functions (Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, Procurement, Operations, etc.).
- Able to travel up to 30% of the time.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to demonstrate software solutions to executive leadership.
- Outstanding organizational skills, highly accountable, self-motivated, detail-oriented, competitive yet team-focused, confident yet humble, eager to learn, and possessing high personal integrity.
- Proven ability to operate independently and autonomously, maintain communication with colleagues and leadership, be responsive to feedback, and committed to continuous improvement.
