The position is within the Debt Capital Markets (DCM) Origination team based in New York, which is a key product group within the Investment Banking Americas division. DCM is responsible for the origination and execution of public and private capital markets transactions for clients, including investment-grade corporations, financial institutions, sovereign entities, supranationals, agencies, and equity sponsors, largely concerning non-recourse infrastructure project financings in the capital markets (i.e., Project Bonds ).
The successful candidate will serve as a key member of DCM, focusing on the origination and execution of U.S. private placements (USPP) and infrastructure project bonds, with secondary responsibilities for select corporate DCM coverage and origination. He or she will be an integral part of the Americas DCM product line and is expected to actively liaise with other regional coverage and sector teams, as well as the broader DCM global team.
Working in coordination with coverage and sector teams globally, the individual will lead efforts to enhance client engagement and establish Natixis as a preferred candidate for active bookrunner and lead DCM roles. Additionally, the candidate will oversee, support, and mentor junior DCM employees toward their individual objectives, challenges, and personal growth.
The salary range for this position will be between $140,000 - 160,000. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package. Natixis also offers a generous benefits package, and you may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award depending on company and individual performance.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, with ideally three or more years of relevant work experience.• Strong knowledge of infrastructure project finance and/or the debt capital markets, including U.S. private placements and 144A/RegS project bonds.• Excellent written and oral communication skills.• A positive attitude with a willingness to exceed expectations.• Strong work ethic and an entrepreneurial approach.• Ability to prepare original and thoughtful content and presentations.• Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, 63, and 79 licenses.
