This leader will manage and expand relationships with national accounts while building and nurturing a thriving independent account base. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this role is critical in shaping the future of our brand presence in key markets and ensuring the Petite Plume story is told with consistency and distinction.Key Responsibilities

  • Account Management: Own and drive the strategy for national and independent wholesale accounts, including department stores, specialty retailers, and select international partners.
  • Sales Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute seasonal and annual sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the wholesale team, ensuring roles are clearly defined and high performance is maintained.
  • Retailer Relationships: Build strong, collaborative relationships with buyers, planners, and merchants to secure placement and optimize performance.
  • Market & Trade Shows: Represent the brand at relevant trade shows and market weeks, ensuring strong brand presentation and sell-in strategies.
  • Product & Merchandising: Partner closely with the product and merchandising teams to ensure assortments are tailored to each account's needs while maintaining brand integrity.
  • Forecasting & Inventory Management: Collaborate with planning and operations to align on demand forecasts and ensure timely delivery and replenishment.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Track sales performance, analyze sell-through, and identify opportunities for growth and improvement by account and region.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with marketing, ecommerce, operations, and customer service to support 360-degree brand campaigns and customer experience.
Qualifications
  • 7–10 years of wholesale experience, including managing both major and independent accounts; luxury or premium lifestyle brand experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue goals and growing account bases.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Deep understanding of the retail landscape, consumer behavior, and competitive trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality.
  • Proficiency in wholesale platforms, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Willingness to travel for market appointments, store visits, and trade shows.
