This is a Field Reimbursement Managerrole in the Western US area. You will be responsible for managing and facilitating the reimbursement process for Sonex Health products within a specific geographic region. This includes working with the Sonex Health team, providers, their staff, patients, and payors to ensure that patients have access to Sonex Health products and that providers are being reimbursed appropriately and in a timely manner. FRMs will work closely with internal teams to develop and execute reimbursement strategies that support products' uptake and utilization. They also provide reimbursement education and training to sales representatives, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure that they are aware of the reimbursement landscape and can navigate the reimbursement process with confidence.
What You'll Do
As anField Reimbursement Manageryou will:
Field Team and Customer Support
Assist in developing and implementing reimbursement strategies to support product uptake and usage for customers as a whole and individual accounts.
Understand, anticipate, and address questions and issues that arise surrounding market access with Sonex Health products- for both the internal Sonex Health team and customers
Develop deep market access expertise in assigned geography and maintain knowledge of payor trends and policy
Educate healthcare providers and their staff in offices and facilities regarding the coding, billing, prior authorization process, and appeals process for Sonex Health products.
Communicate and collaborate with staff and patient access personnel at accounts (e.g., Surgery Schedulers, Billers, Case Managers, Nurse Coordinators, etc.)
Educate healthcare providers and their staff on Market Access Support (MAS) program.
Act as liaison between customers, Sonex Health employees and MAS.
Facilitate communication between the healthcare provider and his/her staff with Sonex Health employees and MAS
Perform semi-annual Business Reviews with physician and facility customers – research, compile reports and present: Proper billing and codes – CPT, HCPC, Rev codes, Mark-up & Cost to Charge ratios (hospitals), Payor Mix, EOB's and claims payment, Additional information from MAS program (if account is enrolled)
Recruit and educate potential “payor advocates” to be utilized in medical policy activities
Materials Creation and Updates
Collaborate with marketing team and designers to assist in creating and updating: Reimbursement education materials for providers, support staff, and the Sonex Health Field Team, Clinical Value Dossier, value briefs, and presentations to facilitate payor coverage of Sonex Health products, Presentations and briefs on clinical updates for ECRI and other Health Technology Assessment companies
Training
Assist in identifying the need for, creating, and updating Market Access training materials for Sonex Health employees and customers
Assist with new hire and ongoing Market Access trainings
Additional Responsibilities
Coordinate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to improve patient access
Ensure all account activity is accurately reflected in company databases
Conducts all activities in accordance with Sonex Health compliance policies and procedures
What You'll Need
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
3+ years of customer service, sales, marketing or reimbursement experience in medical device or pharmaceutical/biotech
Strong understanding of insurance and benefit design with both commercial and government payers
Demonstrated experience with addressing product access, reimbursement and/or transition of care issues
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Demonstrated strong interpersonal, communication and relationship-building experience
Field account management skills and experience
Knowledge of industry dynamics and strategic planning orientation
Extensive travel is required 50% - 60%
May live anywhere in the contiguous United States; must live near a commercial airport

Base: $150-170k
Variable: 10%
Total Comp: $165-187k
