About Chronius
Chronius is a first-of-its-kind virtual primary care provider—the only practice specifically designed to serve patients with invisible illnesses and complex chronic diseases. We care for a large, yet historically underserved, patient population: the over 80 million adults in the U.S. living with conditions like Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), autoimmune disease, thyroid disorders, Long Covid, ME/CFS, IBS, and more. Nearly all of our patients are polychronic, and we've treated over 600 distinct conditions to date.
We're creating something different: a virtual-first primary care model built from the ground up to deliver comprehensive, longitudinal, and condition-literate care—what we call Primary Care+. We offer the full scope of traditional primary care—preventive care, acute visits, chronic disease management—with the added depth, tools, and team support needed to care for patients whose conditions cross multiple systems, evolve over time, and often go undiagnosed for years.
Founded by a patient who has lived through these very challenges, we understand the frustration of navigating a healthcare system that too often fails to recognize or meet patients' needs. By combining innovative technology with hands-on clinical and wraparound support, we help patients gain clarity, feel seen, and take ownership of their care.
We launched in Florida and are expanding to additional states, with the goal of becoming the national medical home for people with complex chronic conditions. As demand for our care grows rapidly, we're looking for mission-driven physicians who want to help build something better.
Why This Role Might Be a Fit
This role is tailor-made for primary care physicians who want to move beyond the limitations of conventional, high-volume care—and practice differently. If you're burned out by assembly-line medicine, burdened by short visits, and craving the time and tools to actually help your patients, Chronius may be the right next step.
We've designed every part of our model to support deep clinical work:
Chronius providers act as the clinical anchor—coordinating care across specialties, advocating for patients when the system falls short, and helping them make sense of their conditions in a way no one ever has before. Many of our patients come to us with undiagnosed or under-treated conditions, and we don't wait years for someone else to connect the dots—we train and empower our clinicians to do it.
This role is ideal for physicians who:

At the core of this role is a commitment to empathy, clinical excellence, and patient-centered care, always tailored to the specific needs of each individual.
What We're Looking For
Schedule & Expectations
This is a full-time position, with clinical availability expected during core business hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET. Physicians in this role are expected to spend 25–30 hours per week in scheduled patient visits, with the remaining time dedicated to documentation, care planning, patient messaging, and collaboration with the care team.
While we don't currently offer weekend coverage, we may implement limited on-call availability for patients in the future. If that happens, this role would be part of a shared rotation — expected to be one weekend per month — to support urgent (non-emergent) needs for existing patients. These after-hours requests would be rare, but having occasional weekend availability ensures continuity of care and added support for our complex care population.
