The Construction Industry Education Foundation (CIEF) exists to recruit, educate, and inspire the design, construction, and trade professionals of tomorrow while also supporting the educational and training needs of today's workforce. CIEF has been rapidly expanding our programming to address the growing labor shortage within our industry.

Overview

As part of CIEF, this position requires a dynamic, highly motivated, and energetic individual. This position reports to the CIEF Director of National Youth Programs and assists with all regional high school outreach programs. This is a hybrid position based in Dallas, Texas with 1-2 days a week in the office or at events/in-person meetings.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including public speaking.
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Strong work ethic and a passion for your work.
  • Reliable, dependable, and approachable with a positive attitude.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry (preferably but not required).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite and AMS systems preferred.
  • Availability for travel to support programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with executing all regional Trades Days, Design Build Competition® programs, CREATE Competition and Scholarship Programs
  • Prepare invoices, reports, letters, mailings, name tags, and other documents.
  • Assist the programs department with basic fundraising and sponsorship benefit management.
  • Conduct research, compile data, and prepare reports for internal and external use.
  • Website management and organize program deliverables.
  • Assist with social media and newsletter publications through storytelling.
  • Other duties as requested.

This is a full-time, hybrid position (1-2 days a week in the office or at events/in-person meetings) based in Dallas, Texas with supplemental benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and a 401k savings program.
