Responsibilities
The EHS Supervisor is responsible for the coordination, implementation, and continuous improvement of Health, Safety, and Environmental systems across multiple locations:
- Develop and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and training programs to support regulatory compliance and organizational goals
- Conduct audits and inspections across manufacturing facilities
- Lead and support site-level safety and ergonomic committees
- Provide technical guidance related to regulatory compliance
- Oversee ISO 14001 system implementation, maintenance, and certification support
- Analyze relevant data and generate meaningful reports
- Stay current on applicable EHS legislation
- Support the professional development of site-level EHS personnel
- Partner with HR, Operations, and other internal stakeholders to align safety and environmental priorities with business objectives
- Other duties as assigned
Experience
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment, including knowledge of complex production operations such as assembly, molding, or coatings
- Experience conducting audits, inspections, and risk assessments across multi-site operations
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 14001 systems and regulatory standards
