Senior Workday HRIS Analyst

Location: Hybrid – Rosemead, CA

Salary: Up to $130,000

A fast-growing, well-established enterprise organization in the retail sector is expanding its internal HRIS team following a successful Workday implementation. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in optimizing and scaling Workday across a dynamic, people-focused business.

About the Role:

As the Senior HRIS Analyst, you'll be responsible for the ongoing configuration, support, and enhancement of the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) platform. You'll work closely with HR stakeholders and cross-functional teams to improve system functionality, drive efficiency, and ensure data integrity. This role is central to ensuring that the Workday system supports strategic HR initiatives while providing a seamless experience for end users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain Workday HCM modules such as Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Talent, and Performance Management.
  • Analyze system performance and troubleshoot issues to identify solutions and ensure process efficiency.
  • Collaborate with HR leads to gather requirements and implement system enhancements and new functionality in line with business needs.
  • Work closely with internal IT teams and third-party vendors to deliver Workday-related projects and improvements.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize reports and dashboards using Workday reporting tools.
  • Monitor new Workday releases and evaluate how updates can support HR operations and improve system performance.
  • Support HR system upgrades and testing efforts, ensuring accuracy and user acceptance.
  • Provide training and support to HR users to maximize the platform's value.
  • Assist with evaluating and implementing new HR technologies as needed.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience configuring and supporting Workday HCM.
  • Strong understanding of Workday Core HCM, Compensation, Reporting, and related modules.
  • Workday certification preferred.
  • Experience working in a large, fast-paced enterprise environment.
