HR Coordinator Responsibilities and Duties

  • Coordinate the recruitment process, including posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and managing candidate communications
  • Assist with new hire onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases
  • Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and inquiries
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Help organize employee engagement events, training sessions, and performance reviews
  • Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests
  • Prepare HR reports and documentation as needed
HR Coordinator Qualifications and Skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of HR principles, labor laws, and best practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative attitude
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in an HR administrative or coordination role
  • Familiarity with HR software and systems (e.g., Workday, BambooHR)
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus
