As a Quality & Training Support Specialist at Horizon, you will…
Support compliance training programs and serve as a backup facilitator for compliance training sessions across the organization
Facilitate core training courses including, but not limited to:
Mental Health First Aid
Non-Clinical Boundaries
Soft Skills Development
Be an active contributor to the coordination and facilitation of new hire orientation, ensuring a welcoming and informative experience.
Support onboarding training for administrative and operational support staff.
Collaborate with managers to align onboarding content with role-specific needs.
Provide staff training and technical support for LMS use.
Manage LMS content, user access, assignments, and reporting as it relates to key job functions.
Monitor training completion, generate compliance reports, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance.
Schedule and coordinate in-person and virtual training sessions.
Prepare materials and provide onsite support for training events.
Assist in the development of e-learning modules and digital resources.
Collect and analyze feedback to improve training effectiveness.
Participate in departmental planning and special projects
Collaborate with subject matter experts and external partners to enhance training offerings.

What makes you a great candidate?
We can't wait to learn more about you! Here are a few specifics of what you'll need for the job:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Education, Behavioral Health, or related field required.
2 years of experience in training, compliance, or administrative support, preferably in a healthcare or behavioral health setting required.
Strong organizational, communication, and facilitation skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems.
Experience with adult learning principles and instructional design.
Background in training delivery for large organizations with multiple shifts.
Familiarity with behavioral health regulations and compliance standards.
Adaptability to evolving operational needs.
Hours:
This position is full-time, Monday – Friday. Typical hours are 8:00am-4:30pm, however, hours may vary based on training needs and could include evening hours.
Location:
This position is located at 55 Dodge Rd, Getzville NY. However, occasional travel to organization sites for training delivery is required.
Compensation
Horizon is consistently evaluating our compensation and benefit packages to ensure we remain competitive. The range of pay for this position is $19.50 - $21.50. Starting pay may be impacted based on experience and education. Compensation adjustments are evaluated annually.
