Your Role:

As a Nurse Practitioner, you will work under the direction of a physician, planning, evaluating, and delivering health care services to patients. Your emphasis on preventive health measures and patient education will make a significant impact. Here's what you'll be doing:

• Taking patient histories and performing physical examinations.
• Administering immunizations and providing health education and counseling.
• Ordering and conducting necessary lab work and tests.
• Prescribing treatments for minor illnesses and collaborating with physicians on complex cases.
• Documenting care accurately and following up on critical health issues.
• Participating in case conferences and continuing education for professional development.
• Engaging in team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
• Meeting productivity, quality, and patient satisfaction standards while upholding infection control protocols.

Minimum Education and Experience:

- Master's Degree required.

- At least 5-8 years of relevant work experience, with a strong preference for candidates with over 8 years.

- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in New York State and current CPR/BLS certification.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in diagnostic and treatment procedures relevant to the responsibilities of nurse practitioners.
• Strong ability to collaborate with a healthcare team to maintain high quality care.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
