The Opportunity:As an expert in defense missions, your unique background inspires you to think bigger, push further, and ask questions others don't. We need your extensive industry knowledge and advisory skills to guide teams as they solve some of our clients' most complex problems—and find solutions that keep our nation safe.

As a Maritime Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Mission Specialist, you'll bring your leadership, tactical, and technical expertise to work alongside thought leaders in engineering, science, and analytics on projects for maritime EOD and seabed warfare. You'll use your skills and expertise as you research, develop, analyze, assess, plan, support, and develop strategies and equipment to assess threat environments to seafloor infrastructure and protect those systems.

Work with us to help develop solutions for urgent mission needs in the undersea. You will analyze maritime product and equipment specifications and performance requirements to determine designs that meet specific mission needs in shallow and deep water, and work with engineers and scientists to develop solutions where existing systems cannot meet requirements.

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience as an EOD Officer in the Navy or Marine Corps
  • Knowledge of maritime EOD operations and equipment
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • 20+ years of experience as an EOD Officer
  • Knowledge of operations in the deep ocean
  • Ability to support deployment and testing at sea of prototype systems
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,900.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
