As the Director of Operations you will directly shape how care is delivered across multiple service lines while leading with heart, vision, and integrity.What You'll Do:As Director of Operations, you will lead with innovation and compassion—ensuring the seamless delivery of participant care through operational excellence, team empowerment, and a steadfast commitment to the core PACE philosophy. Leadership & Team Development
- Create a high-performance culture rooted in collaboration, accountability, and compassion.
- Mentor and empower direct reports including Center Managers, Associate Directors, and Service Managers.
- Drive staff development through training, recognition, and leadership opportunities.
- Cultivate a positive work environment that values innovation, inclusion, and transparency.
Operational Oversight
- Direct daily operations across multiple departments including center services, therapy, behavioral health, and more.
- Maintain a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for participants and staff.
- Monitor and optimize staffing levels and workflows to ensure efficient, participant-centered service delivery.
- Coordinate with facilities and maintenance teams to address environmental issues promptly.
Participant Care & Program Quality
- Ensure participants receive consistent, personalized care that honors their autonomy, choices, and dignity.
- Lead efforts to support natural caregivers and family members through education, communication, and inclusion.
- Oversee participant grievance and appeals processes with empathy and fairness.
- Monitor satisfaction metrics and implement improvements based on participant feedback.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and maintain high clinical and operational standards.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure full compliance with CMS and State Administering Agency (SAA) guidelines and PACE regulations.
- Lead audit readiness and ensure accurate documentation across all care settings.
- Develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures to ensure regulatory and ethical excellence.
Strategic Planning & Budget Oversight
- Assist in the development and management of annual budgets for assigned departments.
- Set performance benchmarks and track progress toward organizational goals.
- Drive initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
Community Engagement & Organizational Growth
- Represent Senior Care Partners PACE in community partnerships, initiatives, and marketing efforts.
- Promote awareness and understanding of the PACE model among stakeholders.
- Share expertise internally and externally to further the mission and expand our impact.
What You Bring to the Role:Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare field with management focus (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years in health/human services, long-term care, or managed care leadership.
- Executive-level leadership experience with interdisciplinary teams.
- Experience with frail or elderly populations.
- Strong skills in strategic planning, policy development, and team building.
Preferred:
- Licensed RN/MSN in the State of Michigan.
Additional Requirements:
- Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain through SCP PACE).
- Must be fully vaccinated or willing to become vaccinated for required communicable diseases.
- Reliable transportation, valid Michigan driver's license, and current auto insurance.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and during emergency situations.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Fully onsite leadership role with regular travel between care centers.
- Must be able to sit, stand, push/pull, and lift up to 20 pounds as needed.
- Frequent interactions with staff, caregivers, and participants in clinical settings.
- Resilience to manage high-level administrative responsibilities with hands-on leadership presence.
