About The Role You will be working in a manufacturing facility where exposure to quartz dust and heavy lifting may be required. The Quartz FLT Driver must follow health and safety rules and procedures at all times, including the use of PPE, to minimize risks related to silica dust. Main Responsibilities: • Adhere to health and safety rules and procedures, particularly those related to the handling of quartz materials and controlling exposure to silica dust. Ensure the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safe work practices • Transport material and finished products between various locations within the facility, including storage areas, production lines, and dispatch zones using forklifts and other necessary equipment. • Make sure material is being stored in designated areas, ensuring that all materials are stored safely, organized efficiently, and easily accessible for future use. • Regularly inspect forklifts and other machinery involved to ensure they are in good working condition. Report any faults or issues to the maintenance team and conduct basic equipment maintenance as required. • Support warehouse operations by helping with packing, labelling, and preparing material for dispatch if needed About YouWhat you will bring to Wren: • Valid forklift license or previous experience (Advantageous) • Warehouse experience (Advantageous) • Organizational skills • Time management • Flexibility, commitment and punctuality
